Physical Properties

• Specific Gravity: Tested per ASTM D792, the material’s specific gravity is 1.34 g/cc, indicating its density relative to water.
• Density: In line with ISO 1183, the density measures 1.34 g/cc (0.0484 lb/in³), reflecting consistent mass-to-volume characteristics.
• Water Absorption: At 23°C/saturated (ISO 62), the material absorbs 0.35%, showing moderate moisture uptake under fully saturated conditions.
• Moisture Absorption: Under 23°C/50% RH (ISO 62), the material exhibits a 0.150% moisture absorption rate, suitable for standard environmental conditions.
• Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: Using the SABIC method for 3.20 mm (0.126 in) thickness, flow-direction shrinkage is 0.0080–0.010 cm/cm (in/in).
• Melt Flow: According to ASTM D1238, the melt flow rate is 7.5 g/10 min under a 1.20 kg (2.65 lb) load at 300 °C (572 °F).
