Physical Properties
- Density: As per ISO 1183, the material’s density is 1.34 g/cc (0.0484 lb/in³), ideal for rigid applications requiring high structural density.
- Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At 23°C/50% RH (ISO 62), equilibrium moisture absorption is 0.20%, ensuring stability in moderate humidity.
- Water Absorption at Saturation: Per ISO 62, saturation water absorption is 0.90%, indicating potential swelling in prolonged wet environments.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: With 0.019 cm/cm (0.019 in/in) per ISO 2577, flow-direction shrinkage is consistent for reliable molding precision.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Transverse: Transverse shrinkage matches flow direction at 0.019 cm/cm (ISO 2577), ensuring uniform dimensional control in all axes.
- Melt Flow: Under ISO 1133, the flow rate is 6.8 g/10 min at 190 °C (374 °F) with a 2.16 kg load, suitable for moderate-viscosity extrusion processes.
