Physical Properties

• Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with ISO 1183, the density is 1.03 g/cc (0.0372 lb/in³).
• Linear Mold Shrinkage: As specified in ISO 294-4,the linear mold shrinkage ranges from 0.0040–0.0070 cm/cm (0.0040–0.0070 in/in).
• Melt Flow Rate: Tested per ISO 1133 at 220°C (428°F) under a 10.0 kg (22.0 lb) load,the melt flow rate is 25 g/10 min.

P2MC is extensively used for automotive exterior trim, such as mirror housings, exterior pillars, spoilers, and grille components, where a chrome or metallic finish is desired for aesthetics and corrosion resistance. Its high flow allows for complex shapes, and its impact resistance provides durability.
2. Cosmetic Packaging: The ability to achieve a premium, metallic look through electroplating, combined with good surface quality, makes it ideal for high-end cosmetic packaging components, such as caps, closures, and decorative elements.
