SABIC P6006N HDPE Multimodal Resin

SABIC P6006N is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin with a multimodal molecular weight distribution, specifically engineered for pipe extrusion.

Physical Properties

  • Density: As measured by the ASTM D1505 standard, the density is 0.949 g/cc (0.0343 lb/in³), a key physical parameter of the material.
  • Oxidative Induction Time (OIT): According to the EN 728 testing method, at 210 °C (410 °F), its OIT is at least 20 minutes, showing good thermal stability.
  • Melt Flow: Based on the ISO 1133 standard, at 190 °C (374 °F), the melt flow rate is 0.23 g/10 min under a 5.00 kg (11.0 lb) load and 6.2 g/10 min under a 21.6 kg (47.6 lb) load.
