COVESTRO BAYBLEND T88 GF-10 PC/ABS Resin
Covestro Bayblend T88 GF-10 is a 10% glass fiber-reinforced PC/SAN blend with optimized heat aging and UV stability.
Physical Properties
- Density:Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with ISO 1183, the density is 1.22 g/cc (0.0441 lb/in³).
- Filler Content:The filler content is 10%, consisting of glass fibers as per Method A; based on ISO 3451-1.
- Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium:Determined by ISO 62, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 0.20%.
- Water Absorption at Saturation:Tested in accordance with ISO 62, the water absorption at saturation is 0.40%.
- Viscosity:At a shear rate of 1000 1/s and temperature of 260 °C (500 °F), the viscosity is 205000 cP, based on ISO 11443-A.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow:For 150x105x3 mm injection-molded plaques at 260°C/mold temp 80°C, linear mold shrinkage (flow) at 3.00 mm thickness per ISO 2577 is 0.0025–0.0045 cm/cm (in/in).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Transverse:Under same conditions, transverse linear mold shrinkage is 0.0035–0.0055 cm/cm (in/in) per ISO 2577.
- Melt Flow:As per ISO 1133, at a temperature of 260 °C (500 °F) under a load of 5.00 kg (11.0 lb), the melt flow rate is 19.52 g/10 min.
