COVESTRO BAYBLEND T90 HT PC/ABS Resin

Covestro Bayblend T90 HT is a high heat-resistant PC/ABS blend suitable for supporting energized parts.

Physical Properties

  • Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with ISO 1183-1, the density is 1.16 g/cc (0.0419 lb/in³).
  • Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: Determined by ISO 62, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 0.20 %.
  • Water Absorption at Saturation: Tested per ISO 62, the water absorption at saturation is 0.70 %.
  • Viscosity: At a shear rate of 1000 1/s and temperature of 260 °C (500 °F), the melt viscosity is 250000 cP (b.o. ISO 11443-A).
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage: For 150x105x3 mm injection – molded plaques at 260 °C / 80 °C mold temp, linear mold shrinkage (flow/transverse) is 0.0060 – 0.0080 cm/cm (in/in) per ISO 2577.
  • Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133, at a temperature of 260 °C (500 °F) under a load of 5.00 kg (11.0 lb), the melt flow rate is 30 g/10 min.
