Physical Properties

• Density: Measured in accordance with the ISO 1183 standard, the density of this POM is 1.41 g/cc (0.0509 lb/in³).
• Water Absorption: At equilibrium (50% RH), following ISO 62, the water absorption is 0.20 %.
• Water Absorption at Saturation: According to ISO 62, it reaches 0.80 % at saturation.
• Maximum Moisture Content: The maximum moisture content of this material is 0.15 without a specified test method.
• Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: Measured by ISO 294 – 4, the flow – direction value is 0.020 cm/cm (0.020 in/in).
• Linear Mold Shrinkage, Transverse: Based on ISO 294 – 4, the transverse value is 0.021 cm/cm (0.021 in/in).
• Melt Flow: Tested following ISO 1133, at 190 °C (374 °F) under 2.16 kg (4.76 lb) load, it is 25 g/10 min.
