BASF Ultraform Z2320 003 POM Resin
Ultraform Z2320 003 is a polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer developed by BASF with medium viscosity, excellent mechanical properties, and low emissions.
Physical Properties
- Bulk Density: The bulk density of this POM is 0.850 g/cc (0.0307 lb/in³) without a specified test standard.
- Density: Measured following ISO 1183, the density of this material is 1.40 g/cc (0.0506 lb/in³).
- Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At 23°C and 50% RH, as per ISO 62, it is 0.20 %.
- Water Absorption at Saturation: Based on ISO 62, the water absorption at saturation is 0.80 %.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: Measured by ISO 2577, the flow – direction value is 0.020 cm/cm (0.020 in/in).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Transverse: According to ISO 2577, the transverse value is 0.021 cm/cm (0.021 in/in).
- Melt Flow: Tested as per ISO 1133, at 190 °C (374 °F) under 2.16 kg (4.76 lb) load, it is 58.8 g/10 min.
