BASF ULTRAMID A3HG5 is a 25% short glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 (PA66) polymer produced by BASF (BASF SE).
Physical Properties
- Density: As measured by the ISO 1183 standard, the density of the material is 1.32 g/cc, which is equivalent to 0.0477 lb/in³.
- Water Absorption: In compliance with ISO 62, the water absorption rate lies in the range of 5.7 – 6.3 %.
- Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At 23°C and 50% relative humidity (R.H.), following the ISO 62 standard, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 1.7 – 2.1 %.
- Viscosity Number: Measured according to ISO 307, the viscosity number is 145 cm³/g or 1.45 dl/g.
